Long range shooting with centerfire rifles at steel plate silhouettes of a Buffalo and a “Quigley Bucket” at 200 yards. The silhouettes are suspended in a heavy metal frame with heavy chains. IDPA matches at NWCSA usually consist of 6-7 different courses of fire (stages) where you will shoot about 100 rounds of service ammo (9mm/.38cal min). Shooters are timed and coupled with accuracy of fire a score will be assigned. There are no awards or cash prizes. Shooters attend an IDPA match to learn and improve their skills in a safe and friendly environment.
CMP Vintage Military Bolt-Action Match - any vintage, military centerfire caliber rifle.
The pond is stocked a few days prior to the Derby and members are asked not to fish 2 days prior to the Kid’s derby. The Derby is open to members' children and guest children.
