Description

This shooting sport rewards those who deliver the most shots closest to the very center of the target. This discipline hones fundamental skills and is ideal for novice and expert shooter alike.

Basics

  • Typically shot one-handed, but not required
  • Two strings of 5 rounds (10 total) are are fired at each target
  • The X, inside the 10 ring, is the highest score possible (10 points)
  • A perfect target (10 shots in the 10 ring) scores a maximum of 100 points
  • Matches have 3 stages, each with a distinct course of fire; Slow, Timed and Rapid

Equipment

  • Pistol: Revolver or Semi-Auto (min of 2 loaders/mags recommended)
  • Caliber: .22 LR
  • Ammunition: 30 rounds/match minimum

Eligibility | Registration

  • Participants: all welcome
  • Experience: all levels
  • Registration: not required (12 ports available – first come, first served)
  • Entry Fee: $5 payable on site

Course of Fire
Targets for this Bullseye Match are set to 25 yards and shot in 3 stages:

Slow Fire

  • 10 rounds in 10 minutes
  • Reload – At Will
  • Maximun Score – 100 points

Timed Fire

  • Two, 20 second strings of 5 rounds each (10 rounds total)
  • Reload – On Command
  • Maximun Score – 100 points

Rapid Fire

  • Two, 10 second strings of 5 rounds each (10 rounds total)
  • Reload – On Command
  • Maximun Score – 100 points

Targets & Scoring

Slow Fire: NRA B-16 25 yd
Timed & Rapid Fire: NRA B-8 25 yd

The 3 target scores are totaled – maximum score is 300 points.


Two matches as described above, are typically shot back-to-back on each date for a total of 60 rounds and a maximum score of 600 points.
