Graduates of this NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course receive a completion certificate allowing them to begin the CT Pistol Permit application process.

Your instructor will be Jim Olson, a long-time NWCSA Member and NRA-certified Instructor. He will lead the course from beginning to end, including; classroom instruction/examination, live-fire training, and your shooting qualification.

*Bonus: Graduates will also receive a free, 1-hr private lesson with Jim to jump-start their shooting confidence and proficiency.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the registration process.

Materials

Jim will provide all the necessary materials for a student to successfully complete this course. It is recommended that students bring any items that may assist their learning (eg. notebook, writing instruments, snacks, refreshments, appropriate clothing, etc).

Open to anyone 21 and older. Participants will be required to sign a Waiver/Release of Liability
