DESCRIPTION:NWCSA encourages all members to learn more about supervising\nsafe shooting activities and range operations through this program. \nDescription \nThe NRA Range Safety Officer Course teaches the basic duties a Range Safety Officer performs. \nIt provides a thorough introduction to: \n\nThe role of the Range Safety Officer (RSO)\nRange Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)\nRange safety briefings\, inspections and rules\nEmergency procedures\nHow to clear firearms stoppages and correct malfunctions\n\nThe course also introduces various types of firearms actions\, including the unloading and clearing process. \nUpon successful completion\, passing the written (open book) test\, you will be a designated NWCSA RSO.
