The shooting will be more freestyle\, you decide how you’re shooting the stage. Most engagement will be in the open with no priority on targets.\n\nWe will use common service pistols or revolvers (no raceguns.)\n\nYou will be limited to 10 round magazines\, but you will not be limited to the number of them you carry. The round count might be as high as 25 on these stages. You will be allowed to drop ammo and reload in the open unless otherwise specified in the written stage briefing.\n\nWalk-Through: 5:15PM\nStart: 5:30PM\n\nRegistration: Pre-registration and payment through Practiscore.\n\nIf you have never shot an action pistol type competition and would like to learn more we offer a no cost 2-3 hour workshop that will cover everything you need to know to be ready for your first match. SUMMARY:IDPA Safety Officer Certification Class
DESCRIPTION:We are offering a training opportunity for candidates interested in becoming an IDPA Safety Officer. Candidates must meet the following qualifications: \n1. Be at least 21 years of age and be able to lawfully possess a firearm under the laws of your country of residence.\n2. Be a current IDPA member in good standing for at least six months and never have had their membership revoked.\n3. Have shot at least six IDPA matches\, at the club or sanctioned level.\n4. Possess a basic knowledge of the IDPA rulebook.\n5. Be sponsored by an IDPA-affiliated club representative that can confirm the applicant’s ability to safely handle a firearm and who is willing and able to provide designated mentor SOs committed to training the graduate SO. \nIt is important that you confer with the club representative/Match Director at the sponsoring club prior to applying to confirm their willingness to sponsor you. \nYou will be required to pass an online pre-test then attend this 8-hour class. The class is split into a morning classroom session then on the range for at least part of the afternoon.

DESCRIPTION:This Intro to IDPA class will be about 2 hours in length and take place at NWCSA in Colebrook. We will cover: \n\nSafety protocols\nMatch communications and registration\nBasics of gun handling while moving and reloading\nIDPA rules\nStage types and designs\n\nClass is about 50% instructional with Q&A held in the clubhouse. We will then move to the Action Pistol pits where we have some stages setup\, and we will do some live fire.
