Attend any match to learn about Bullseye Pistol and receive coaching tips from our experienced shooters. \nDescription \nBullseye rewards those who deliver the most shots closest to the very center of the target. This discipline hones fundamental skills and is ideal for novice and expert shooter alike. \nBasics \n\nTypically shot one-handed\, but not required\nTwo strings of 5 rounds (10 total) are are fired at each target\nThe X\, inside the 10 ring\, is the highest score possible (10 points)\nA perfect target (10 shots in the 10 ring) scores a maximum of 100 points\nMatches have 3 stages\, each with a distinct course of fire; Slow\, Timed and Rapid\n\nEquipment \n\nPistol: Revolver or Semi-Auto (min of 2 loaders/mags recommended)\nCaliber: .22 LR\nAmmunition: 30 rounds/match minimum\n\nEligibility | Registration \n\nParticipants: all welcome\nExperience: all levels\nRegistration: not required (12 ports available – first come\, first served)\nEntry Fee: $5 payable on site\n\nCourse of Fire\nTargets for this Bullseye Match are set to 25 yards and shot in 3 stages: \nSlow Fire \n\n10 rounds in 10 minutes\nReload – At Will\nMaximun Score – 100 points\n\nTimed Fire \n\nTwo\, 20 second strings of 5 rounds each (10 rounds total)\nReload – On Command\nMaximun Score – 100 points\n\nRapid Fire \n\nTwo\, 10 second strings of 5 rounds each (10 rounds total)\nReload – On Command\nMaximun Score – 100 points\n\nTargets & Scoring \nSlow Fire: NRA B-16 25 yd\nTimed & Rapid Fire: NRA B-8 25 yd \nThe 3 target scores are totaled – maximum score is 300 points. \n\nTwo matches as described above\, are typically shot back-to-back on each date for a total of 60 rounds and a maximum score of 600 points.

SUMMARY:2026 Ingvertsen Veterans Charity IDPA Match
DESCRIPTION:This match will use Rifle\, Pistol\, and Plate Ranges in addition to Action Pistol Pits\nThe International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) was founded in 1996 with the goal of creating an action shooting competition based upon the realistic use of handguns for personal defense. IDPA offers an exciting forum for practical shooters in which truly practical equipment\, techniques and courses of fire are mandated. Prior to IDPA\, there was no place to compete with common service pistols. There were no shooting sports where your concealed carry holster could also be your match holster without handicap. \nThe Veterans Charity Match benefits Canaan VFW who provides aid to area veterans. This will be the Fourth year for this event. We will use 5 ranges and shoot 10 stages total. \nIf you have never shot an action pistol type competition and would like to learn more we offer a no cost 2-3 hour workshop that will cover everything you need to know to be ready for your first match. If interested\, please contact ap@nwcsa.org. \nSafety brief\, pledge\, and walk through of first stages begins 8:45AM. \nPlease arrive 45-60 min before match start time to register and gear up. \nPlease note that pre-registration and payment is required on Practiscore.
