“Toys for Tots” Muzzleloader Shoot
Sunday December 13th – 9am until 1pm
Calling all sportsmen & women:
Whether you hunt, shoot, collect, build, re-enact, or just have an intreast in muzzle loading or not. We ask you to come out and support us to help the Marine Corps. “Toys for Tots Campaign” Help make a child’s Christmas a little brighter.
We will be running a novelty target type shoot open to all muzzleloader. Whether it is a modern scoped in-line or a flintlock with open sights, we will be running different relays beginning at 9am and we anticipate shooting until 1pm or later if there is enough interest. Bring plenty of powder and bullets.
Entrance fee will be a new unwrapped toy. Prizes for shooters will be happy children and bragging rights.
If you never tried your hand at muzzleloading, come out and we will let you try out several different types of rifles.
The Northwestern CT Sportsmen’s Association is a NMLRA Charter Club and will be having a shoot once a month starting in the spring of 2010. We will end the season next year with another “Toys for Tots” shoot.
This shoot will be held at the club’s rifle range facility. The be hot coffee and donuts along with a pot of hot chili, so come out and shoot or socialize and get together with old friends and make new ones.
